2008 Woodie Awards
Call it Juno. Or maybe Juneau, as in the Alaskan city. By now, can there be anyone left who hasn’t heard of Bristol Palin? I’d be surprised if there were, since it seems like anyone who is even the slightest bit political has stated their stance on the pregnant, unwed, seventeen-year-old daughter of potential Vice President Sarah Palin.
Every day, University of Wisconsin-Stout students walk up and down Broadway St. going to class, meeting with friends for dinner and drinks or walking back to their homes and dorm rooms after a long day. Broadway is a very busy street filled with restaurants, small shops and fun places to go to with friends.
We've all heard that awkward line before: "You're a great person, I'm just not really ready for a serious relationship right now."
Nothing irritates me more then someone saying that Menomonie is boring during the school year. Don't get me wrong - Menomonie is no Florida or California, but with that being said, it is a smaller community with various events and college sports games going on.
